ART Adventures Program

Fun AND instructional art tours for children.

March Break & Summer Art Adventures for ages 8-15

ART ADVENTURE Camp - runs 10:00AM- 3:00PM Monday - Fri.  during March Break and in July.  Daily field trips to Toronto Island, Allan Gardens, Riverdale Farm, High Park, and the Toronto Zoo .

ART ADVENTURES has grown from our practice of taking children on drawing trips. We’ve gone on gallery hops, to the Royal Winter Fair, and to the Zoo. The children love these trips so we decided to make trips into a summer curriculum.

Students  learn new techniques and put them to use immediately as they will be in drawing ‘in the field’, working in the spirit of the Canadian landscape tradition.

Like the landscape artists we will be observing and recording, with hand to paper, what surrounds us while we are out .
 

ART materials, admission and travel costs are included in the packages. Each child is required to bring their own very hearty lunch + 3 snacks (please no peanuts or sugary foods), a full water bottle, sunscreen, all in a backpack, to wear a hat, comfortable weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen.
