Art Tours

Marks of Perception offers two types art tours; 1. The Guided, and 2.The Instructional Art Tour.
Guided Art tours are three + hour art tours for, groups, families, and individuals are available upon request. You choose the site for the tour. Base price for these tours is calculated for a group of three at $25. per person. Three hours + 1/2 hour coffee & chat break. (Travel costs & entrances fees are paid by clients.)

Instructional art tours
These unique art tours are led by professional artist and art instructor Deb Wiles.
Instructional art tours are onsite extended art lessons.
During this three hour interactive instructional art tour you develop your artist eye.
One to one instructional art tours for adults are arranged upon request.
One to one Art tours run for 5 hours including coffee/ lunch and chat breaks.
You choose the site! $125.
Group instructional art tours, starting with groups of 3 people +, at 45. per person, run for 3 hours + 1/2 hour coffee and chat break.

Please consider that I am open to tour suggestions and are happy to work with you & yours to design a tour that you and your group will most enjoy.
Even though I trained as an artist years ago and run an art school for six years now, I found that I had a pressing desire to get more people "into" art. Then I was inspired with the idea of offering art tours.
Consider me an approachable Ambassador for the Arts!
The group gallery hop (or
at tour) is a low pressure and fun way to get into and get comfortable with the
art scene.
Galleries can be a little intimidating for people and I would like to make it
less so.
In the group gallery hop we will travel along through a gallery district and
check out the artworks we find there.
Each gallery exhibits work that is to the taste of the curator/ s of that
gallery. By visiting a number of galleries during a gallery hop, you will get to
experience artwork that has been chosen to appeal to a variety of tastes. I have
no doubt that you will see some artwork that you love, and since we will be a
group, you may also make a new friend or two!
Ultimately, my aim is to take groups of art enthusiasts to exotic places in the
world, so that we may take in major gallery's and draw splendid panoramas.
However we must begin at the beginning, at home with what we have here in our
generous and vast city, and then when we have exhausted our taste and curiosity
we will move onto new places!
