2024 Installation as Enshrinement

C$0.00Price

A little installation of part of my private collection, starting at 12 o'clock, "Nomad" by Michael Porter, "Encaustic Guy", by Isaiah as a child, same as next one, "Squid", at 7pm, is Joanne Armour's "Fish Out of Water", at 9pm, " Sleeping Woman" by Jordan Wallace. In the middle are various gifted and collected talisman

Installation as enshrinement.

Just set up a collection in a private space... objects of attachment, objects meaningful to me, that stir love and remembrances.

Each carries its own story, with my story in relation to it, my attachment to it cast upon it in revelation, in joy, in relief.

As a maker of objects, I get consumed with the process, lost in it, like a river become flow and so, lose the attachment and duplicity, fall out of duality into the one so I'm not thinking...not thinking about "the meaning of the work" "i" am making" or "how the audience will receive it”... these are things they taught us in our college, these are things that I don't believe her, as an artist, are my business. my business is to be in the process of materialization, to be a cog in THAT wheel, let the critics critique and surmise what work is about, that's not my business, the work makes itself through me.
